Players may want fewer promotional messages without losing a bonus already attached to their account. With The pokies, that distinction matters because the published bonus rules cover wagering, forfeiture and eligibility, but do not clearly explain a marketing opt-out process. Before changing account settings or contacting support, review the offer terms, record the promotion details and use https://kindred.live/ only as a separate informational resource, not as evidence of The pokies’ policies.
What cancelling marketing usually means
Marketing cancellation normally means stopping promotional emails, text messages or other advertising. It should not automatically mean cancelling a bonus that has already been credited. However, The pokies’ available terms do not publish a clear, general statement confirming that promotional communications and active rewards are managed separately.
Marketing messages and bonus conditions are different
A message may advertise a reload offer, while the reward itself is controlled by conditions such as a minimum deposit, wagering requirement or eligibility rule. Removing future marketing should not be treated as a request to forfeit an existing reward unless the operator specifically says so.
The safest approach is to ask support a narrow question: “Please stop marketing communications, but keep my currently active bonus and its original terms.” Save the reply before making any further change.
The pokies bonus rules that affect cancellation
The published rules show why careful wording matters. A first-deposit offer has appeared in several versions, including up to A$500 with 50 free spins at 30x wagering, and up to A$250 at 40x wagering. A current indexed version also refers to up to A$500 for selected invited players after at least three deposits.
| Bonus detail | Published version | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| No-deposit reward | A$10 after mobile verification | One per person; 40x wagering applies |
| First-deposit offer | Up to A$500 plus 50 free spins | Archived version lists a A$20 minimum deposit and 30x wagering |
| Alternative first-deposit offer | Up to A$250 | Earlier current-site information lists a A$30 minimum deposit and 40x wagering |
| Withdrawal during wagering | Not allowed without forfeiture | Bonus funds and related winnings may be removed |
These differences mean a player should not rely on an old email alone. Keep a screenshot of the exact offer, including the date, deposit requirement, wagering multiple and any expiry or maximum-bet wording. Some of those details are not publicly stated.
How to ask The pokies to stop promotions
Support is listed as available through live chat, email and an FAQ area. The site claims live-chat assistance around the clock, while email replies are described as arriving within a few hours. Those are service claims, not a guarantee that a marketing request will be processed immediately.
A clear request protects the active reward
Use plain language and avoid saying “cancel my bonus” if you only want to stop advertising. Include the account email, the name of the promotion and the date it was credited. Ask support to confirm in writing that the reward remains active under the original conditions.
- Open the account’s support channel and state that you want promotional communications stopped.
- Identify the active bonus without asking to forfeit it.
- Request written confirmation of both actions.
- Save the transcript, email or ticket number.
If support says the reward must be removed, ask which specific term requires that result. Do not deposit more money until the answer is clear.
What players should check before accepting a reward
The pokies lists several reload promotions, but the available information does not establish a universal marketing preference control. A player may therefore need to handle promotional contact and bonus management through support rather than a self-service switch.
Check the offer before you opt out
Reload promotions have carried 40x wagering. Published examples include Magical Monday at 50% up to A$125, Fancy Friday at 75% up to A$750 and Snazzy Sunday at up to 100%, with no cap stated. The terms may change, so treat these as published examples rather than permanent offers.
| Promotion | Match | Cap | Wagering |
|---|---|---|---|
| Magical Monday | 50% | A$125 | 40x |
| Triumphant Tuesday | 60% | A$300 | 40x |
| Whiz-bang Wednesday | 35% or 70% | A$350 | 40x |
| Fancy Friday | 75% | A$750 | 40x |
| Saturday promotion | 30%, 50% or 70% | A$350 | 40x |
Do not assume that a bonus mentioned in a message is still available. The published material does not give a general expiry period, maximum bonus bet or named free-spin game. Those omissions make written confirmation especially useful.
Why account records and verification matter
The operator may request identity information before a payout, even though one site statement says verification is unnecessary in most cases. Reports on review platforms describe verification requests and delayed withdrawals, so account records should be kept separately from promotional messages.
Players should also avoid confusing The pokies register or account registration with a marketing subscription. Registration creates an account and may involve email and mobile verification; it does not clearly explain how advertising preferences are controlled. Terms can also require one account per person, email, IP address and device.
Practical risks when opting out
The pokies is an offshore casino accepting Australian players, not an Australian-licensed operator. ACMA has formally warned the operator identified as Digibrite S.R.L., and 56 related domains were listed as blocked on 18 September 2026. That legal and operational background should form part of any decision about leaving funds or rewards active.
- Do not treat a marketing email as proof that a bonus is still valid.
- Do not use a the pokies download or assume a mobile app can manage preferences; the service is described as browser-only.
- Do not expect the pokies demo to show the terms of a real-money reward; sign-in is required for games.
- Do not rely on a single support promise when withdrawal conditions remain unclear.
Players who want to stop gambling entirely should request temporary or permanent account closure instead of merely unsubscribing from promotions. BetStop does not cover illegal offshore casinos. Free, confidential help is available through the National Gambling Helpline on 1800 858 858, 24 hours a day.
Conclusion: separate the message from the reward
There is no clearly published The pokies rule confirming that marketing can always be cancelled while an active bonus remains untouched. A player can still make the distinction explicit: request an advertising opt-out, name the reward, ask for written confirmation and retain the original terms. If support will not confirm the arrangement, forfeiting the bonus may be safer than continuing under uncertain conditions.
