Prepaid vouchers can give New Zealand players another way to fund a Mr Fortune account without entering card details at the cashier. The key points are the minimum payment, country-specific availability, voucher expiry and what happens to unused value. This guide explains the practical checks to make before buying or redeeming one, with a useful external resource at https://www.qpmltd.co.nz/ for general payment guidance.
How prepaid vouchers work at Mr Fortune
Prepaid vouchers are payment products bought in advance and exchanged for account credit. Mr Fortune’s payment information confirms support for prepaid vouchers, alongside cards, e-wallets and bank transfers. However, the cashier displays the methods available for the player’s country, so a voucher shown in another market should not be assumed to work for a New Zealand account.
Check the cashier before purchasing
Open the deposit page, select NZD if that is your account currency, and check the payment logos and instructions shown there. The help centre names products such as Paysafecard, Neosurf, Flexepin and CashToCode, but some payment methods serve other countries. The New Zealand cashier is the practical source for current availability.
Mr Fortune minimum payment in New Zealand
The confirmed minimum deposit for an NZD account is NZ$5. This is the general cashier minimum, not necessarily the minimum for every prepaid voucher. A voucher provider may set its own purchase amount, while a promotion may require a larger deposit. Check both figures before entering a code.
Why the minimum can differ
Payment methods can have separate limits because they use different processing systems. Mr Fortune’s general terms also contain broader deposit wording of €10–€30 or equivalent, while the help-centre currency table gives NZ$5 for New Zealand. The cashier should be treated as the current operational reference when these figures do not align.
What happens to unused voucher value?
Unused value normally remains attached to the voucher or payment account until the provider’s own rules apply. Mr Fortune does not publish a general promise that unused prepaid value will be converted to cash, refunded, or transferred to another payment method. A voucher should therefore be used only for the amount you intend to deposit.
Do not assume partial use is refundable
If a voucher is worth more than the intended deposit, check whether the payment provider stores the remaining balance for later use. That is different from a Mr Fortune withdrawal. Withdrawals are generally returned to the original deposit source first, and the operator may require a bank account in the player’s name.
Voucher expiry, errors and failed payments
Voucher expiry dates and redemption conditions usually belong to the voucher issuer. Keep the receipt, code and purchase confirmation until the full value has been accepted. A mistyped code, an expired voucher or a product restricted to another country may fail at the cashier, even if the voucher was purchased successfully.
What to do when a code is rejected
Check the code carefully, confirm that the voucher is valid in New Zealand, and avoid repeated attempts if the balance appears to have changed. Contact the voucher provider first for payment-specific issues. Mr Fortune offers 24/7 live chat and email support, with email replies usually expected within 48 hours.
Mr Fortune deposit and withdrawal limits
New Zealand account holders have a confirmed minimum withdrawal of NZ$20 and a rolling monthly withdrawal limit of NZ$20,000. The maximum deposit listed for a transaction is €7,000 or equivalent. These limits apply to the account and cashier, not just to prepaid vouchers, and promotional terms can impose separate conditions.
Processing normally takes about 3–5 business days after verification. Cards and bank transfers may then take up to four working days to arrive, while e-wallet transfers are described as instant after processing. That does not mean a prepaid voucher deposit can be withdrawn immediately.
Security and verification checks
A prepaid voucher does not remove identity checks. Identification is required before the first withdrawal, and the terms also refer to verification after cumulative withdrawals of €2,000. Documents can include photo identification, proof of address dated within the last three months and proof of the payment method.
Mr Fortune is operated by Green Feather Online Limited under a Malta Gaming Authority licence, not a New Zealand licence. Players should also avoid VPNs and proxies because the terms say these may lead to an account block or withheld winnings. These checks matter when assessing whether Mr Fortune feels like a secure casino for your circumstances.
New Zealand rules and responsible use
New Zealand’s Online Casino Gambling Act commenced on 1 May 2026, and advertising to New Zealand customers was banned from that date. The Department of Internal Affairs is developing a licensing system, with the full regime expected in 2027. Mr Fortune’s New Zealand licence status was not confirmed, so its Maltese licence should not be described as DIA approval.
Only deposit what you can afford to lose. Mr Fortune provides deposit, wager and session limits, reality checks, Time Out and self-exclusion tools under Responsible Gaming. The minimum age in its terms is 18. If gambling is becoming difficult to control, contact the Gambling Helpline on 0800 654 655.
Conclusion: check the voucher before paying
The clearest confirmed Mr Fortune minimum for an NZD deposit is NZ$5, but a prepaid voucher may have a different purchase value or country restriction. Check the New Zealand cashier, read the issuer’s unused-value and expiry rules, and keep your receipt. Treat the voucher as a funding method rather than a guarantee of an easy withdrawal, and review bonus, verification and responsible-gambling conditions before depositing.
