The pokies loyalty programme uses a ten-level XP ladder to reward regular play with cash credits and wager-free bonuses. It looks generous at the higher tiers, but the value is hard to judge because the XP earning rate, downgrade rules and cashback terms are not published. This review explains how the rewards work, compares the main benefits and highlights the legal and withdrawal risks Australian players should consider before depositing. How the pokies loyalty programme works
The pokies loyalty scheme has ten levels, starting with Copper and ending with Rhodium. Players move up by earning XP through wagering, although the operator does not state how much XP is awarded for each Australian dollar wagered. That missing detail matters: without it, you cannot estimate how much play is needed to reach a particular reward.
The ten VIP levels and published rewards
The first two levels offer only XP redemption rewards. From Bronze, the ladder adds a separate wager-free reward. The amounts rise sharply at the top, including A$40,000 at Titanium and A$200,000 at Rhodium. Rhodium also lists a new Lamborghini Huracán, although the conditions for such a reward are not explained.
| Level | Additional XP | XP redemption bonus | Wager-free bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Copper | Starting level | None | None |
| Steel | 125 | A$2.50 | None |
| Chrome | 500 | A$10 | None |
| Bronze | 2,000 | A$40 | A$25 |
| Silver | 7,500 | A$150 | A$120 |
| Gold | 30,000 | A$600 | A$600 |
| Platinum | 125,000 | A$2,500 | A$3,000 |
| Rhodium | 10,000,000 | A$200,000 | A$100,000 plus a Lamborghini Huracán |
The pokies rewards compared with the welcome offers
Loyalty rewards are separate from the pokies welcome bonus and reload promotions. The welcome offer has appeared in several different versions, so the current terms must be checked before a deposit. Reported versions include a 100% match up to A$250 with a A$30 minimum deposit and 40x wagering, or up to A$500 with a A$20 minimum deposit, 50 free spins and 30x wagering.
Why the bonus terms need careful checking
The no-deposit offer has been advertised as an A$10 credit after mobile-number verification. It carries 40x wagering, a one-per-person rule and an unpublished maximum cashout. Other pages describe a first-deposit match for selected invited players after three deposits. These differences mean the pokies bonuses should not be treated as fixed until the cashier or written terms confirm them.
Reload promotions have also been published across the week. The caps range from A$125 on Monday to A$750 on Friday, and each listed reload uses 40x playthrough. No official bonus code, maximum bonus bet or expiry period was found, so do not assume that the pokies codes advertised on third-party pages will work.
| Promotion day | Published match | Maximum | Wagering |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday | 50% | A$125 | 40x |
| Tuesday | 60% | A$300 | 40x |
| Wednesday | 35% or 70% | A$350 | 40x |
| Thursday | Reward up to 100% | A$500 | 40x |
| Friday | 75% | A$750 | 40x |
| Saturday | 30%, 50% or 70% | A$350 | 40x |
| Sunday | Up to 100% | Not stated | 40x |
What value can players reasonably expect?
The rewards look strongest from Bronze onwards, especially at Silver and Gold. Yet the published figures are not enough to prove good value. A player could need substantial wagering to move between levels, and the operator does not publish the XP rate, return-to-player figures or any VIP cashback percentage. Large headline rewards should therefore be viewed as conditional rather than guaranteed returns.
Strengths and limitations of the VIP ladder
The main advantage is a clear progression path with named levels and two reward types. The main weakness is a lack of practical detail. There is no published rule for level downgrades, no stated personal manager, no faster withdrawal promise and no explanation of how or when rewards expire. The top-tier benefits may appeal to high-volume players, but their real cost is impossible to calculate from the available information.
- Check the XP rate before treating a level as attainable.
- Read the wagering rule attached to every reward.
- Confirm whether a reward can be withdrawn or must be played through.
- Keep deposits small enough that a delayed payout would not cause financial stress.
Payments, withdrawals and account checks
The pokies accepts card and cryptocurrency deposits, while withdrawals are made by Australian bank transfer. PayID deposits have appeared in the cashier, but availability should be confirmed on the live site. Published withdrawal limits conflict: one source gives A$9,000 per day, another gives A$9,000 per withdrawal, while an affiliate page lists A$10,000 per week.
Processing claims also differ. The archived cashier confirmation said requests should be processed within 24 hours, while other pages give 24–48 hours, five to six hours or up to seven days. Complaint platforms report longer delays, frozen accounts and repeated identity checks. Terms may require a one-times deposit turnover for PayID and three times for credit cards, so a reward balance is not the only condition that can affect a withdrawal.
Legal status and reputation in Australia
The pokies is an offshore casino accepting Australian players, not an Australian-licensed service. ACMA issued a formal warning to Digibrite S.R.L. in September 2025 for offering casino-style games linked to Australian customers. As at 18 September 2026, ACMA had blocked 56 domains containing “thepokies”, although the current numbered domain was not on that list at the research date.
The reputation evidence is also mixed but concerning. The thepokies.net Trustpilot profile showed 1.7 out of 5 from 213 reviews, with complaints focused on withdrawals, account closures and verification. Casino Guru assigned a very low safety index of 2.8 and recorded disputed amounts ranging from A$100 to A$14,000. These reports do not prove every complaint, but they are relevant when judging the risk of chasing loyalty rewards.
Australian law also matters. Online casino games offered to people in Australia are prohibited under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001. BetStop does not cover illegal offshore casinos, so it cannot block access to this service. If gambling is becoming difficult to control, you can stop gambling or call the National Gambling Helpline on 1800 858 858.
Conclusion: are the loyalty rewards worthwhile?
The pokies loyalty ladder is easy to understand at a broad level and offers unusually large published rewards at higher tiers. That appeal is weakened by missing XP calculations, unclear reward conditions, conflicting bonus information and serious legal and withdrawal concerns. Treat the VIP figures as promotional claims, not as income. For Australian players, the offshore status and complaint record deserve more weight than the size of the final reward.
